Social === Refers to relationships among people.
Withdrawal
The pain that develops when addicted person stop using.
Part of the pain is created by physical damage and the body's need for the addictive substance.
Brain cells and body chemistry discharge nervous distortion and create physical impairment.

Withdrawal Phases
Physical withdrawal develops in two phases
Acute withdrawal
Last for three to ten days ( detoxification )
Post Acute Withdrawal (PAW)
Last for months or even years into sobriety depending on one's quantity, type, and length of use.
