Pulau Peucang merupakan pulau yang terdapat di selat Panaitan Kabupaten Pandeglang Banten atau sebelah timur Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon.
Pulau ini bersama Pulau Panaitan dan Pulau Handeuleum termasuk dalam wilayah kawasan Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon sehingga tidak sedikit wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Taman Ujung Kulon, juga berkunjung ke pulau berpasir putih ini.
Asal nama
Dinamakan peucang mengambil nama dari sejenis siput yang sering ditemukan di pantainya. Penduduk setempat biasa menyebutnya "mata peucang".
Nama "peucang" juga diambil dari nama sejenis rusa yang mendiami pulau ini.
Daya tarik
Sebagai bagian dari kawasan Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon, di pulau ini dapat dijumpai berbagai satwa seperti rusa (Cervus timorensis), lutung (Trachypithecus auratus auratus), kijang, babi hutan (Sus verrucosus) dan biawak.
Hutan Pulau Peucang merupakan salah satu ekosistem hutan hujan tropis dataran rendah.
Flora di kawasan ini di antaranya merbau (Intsia bijuga), palahlar (Dipterocarpus haseltii), bungur (Lagerstroemia speciosa), cerlang (Pterospermum diversifolium), dan ki hujan (Engelhardia serrata).
Selain itu juga ada pohon Ficus atau ara pencekik, tumbuhan parasit yang melilit pohon lain untuk hidup. Biasanya pohon inangnya akan mati jika aranya menjadi dewasa.
Pantai pulau ini teramat indah dengan hamparan pasir putih dengan laut hijau muda kebiru-biruan.
Warna biru lautnya sangat ideal untuk kegiatan berenang, menyelam, memancing, atau snorkeling.
Di pulau ini juga terdapat sebuah air terjun di Citerjun.
Karangcopong Obyek yang cukup menarik perhatian wisatawan di pulau ini adalah Karang Copong adalah nama sebuah karang mati besar yang berlubang (copong) yang terletak di bagian utara pulau. Di sini menjadi tempat favorit untuk menyelam karena keindahan dasar laut dan keanekaragam ikannya. Juga menjadi tujuan bagi wisatawan yang menyukai memancing.
